CRITIQUE OF KHAN, AND THEREFORE PRAGMATISM

Severe intellectual condemnation corners Sena, and therefore threats are withdrawn.
What does the Khan do.... Tones down and speaks conciliatory.

Does this one arbitrary reversal change history. From digging Kotla to IBN attack to zillion others, violence and threats are embedded in the very identity of Sena. To pragmatically reconcile to Sena for current gains, would be to concede that principles and values DO NOT MATTER.

When a serial killer leaves one victim, it does not change its nature; so is true for Sena. Therefore, Mr Khan is acting unethically in diluting his stand. This also demonstrates whats most important for Mr Khan, what drives him into action. Is it money; not really, though for him its the reflection of that.

"Greatest (blind) adulation of Greatest many." And you are prepared to say anything, do anything, manipulate and twist events (from Mumbai for Indians to IPL to frisking at US airport) for expanding your cult.Day before yesterday it was right for your team to ignore Pak players in auction. Yesterday it was righteous to condemn actions of that very auction. It was convenient to use Indian card for garnering support. And now a tone-down amounting to the betrayal of very cause you apparently embraced.

Those who are disappointed, don't be. Instead understand the nature of dystopia called SR KHAN.

Mr Khan is acting unethically, not "in diluting his stand" but in taking the wrong stand in the first place. He simply did not make it clear what his stand was, preferring to shroud it (if there was an 'it') in his usual meaningless verbosity. If he felt 'humiliated' at Pak players being ignored, he should've clarified why his own team did not take Pak players. But he chose to use vague words that would hit headlines at the opportune moment and ensure that his new release gets maximum eyeballs. People, as Scott Adams asserts, are idiots!

Thats right Geeta, he never took a stand, a pragmatist never does. My context in this case was different. I think I should have said "in diluting his already ambiguous statement". P.S. The very fact that this blog and your comment exists proves that ALL people are NOT stupid... Tkr Rohin

On SRK interview

Hmmm, the interview of Mr minisicule. I have had more structured discussions with my niece and nephew. You know, emotions are sufficient tool to lead ones life. Except science, technology, productivity and wisdom.... what else has logic given us..?WayTOGo guys...!

Clarifying my context further

Regarding... "Natasha Jog : 41 minutes ago @ronnie- he still refused to apologise...?" Let me draw an analogy to clarify my point further. You shout something ambiguous to a friend at bus stop, but in a civil tone. Obvious intention being to attract publicity for your forthcoming project. It happens to hurt a sentiment of a stranger nearby. Stranger takes out gun, calls you a traitor and threatens to shoot you unless you apologize. Your friend(media who interviewed Udhav Thackrey) tries to rationally convince the stranger, but to no avail. That stranger is notorious for threatening and shooting people who disagree with his flawed ideology. But still, though you say that you didn't meant to hurt the sentiment, you refuse to apologize(most probably because you would be embarrassed before your friends, as one of your other friend having similar attitude was previously). Meanwhile a crowd gathers and denounces the intimidating stranger, and he reluctantly puts back his gun. Everybody knows how much the stranger is still interested in continuing the threat, but for the severe cornering. And when everything is seemingly settled and crowd is slowly dispersing, your megalomania refuses to let go. And you shout back at grudging stranger, "Hey, I am willing to explain my point, but I wont apologize." The stranger, who was obviously low on self-esteem due to the event, regains his lost confidence and shouts back. "Buddy, you ought to apologize for hurting sentiments of my clan". Now this behavior of yours really confuses the spectator like me... And only conclusion I can draw is that you are desperate for attention!!!
